SUMMARY:June Cookbook Club
DESCRIPTION:June’s Cookbook | Dinner Tonight: 100 Simple\, Healthy Recipes for Every Night of the Week by Alex Snodgrass \nDo you love food? Join the book club that involves eating\, recipe sharing\, and fun! Check out the book\, pick a recipe to prepare and meet at the library for a potluck dinner party hosted at the library. You bring the food and conversation\, we supply everything else. Come hungry\, there is plenty to eat! New members always welcome to join. \nFAQs \n\n\n\n\nWhere do I find the book? The selected book is available at the library’s front desk to make photocopies or check out.  There may be other cookbooks by the same author or alternative cookbooks with the same type of food available as well. \n\n\nDo I have to bring a dish to share? No\, but it is very much encouraged. The more recipes to share and discuss\, the more fun. \n\n\nMay I make a recipe not from the selected book? Yes. We encourage you to use the chosen book\, but do not feel pressure if you are not able to. \n\n\nDo I have to follow the recipe exactly? No! Use substitutions as you see fit\, but PLEASE inform everyone in case of allergies\, food aversions\, etc. \n\n\nI have a food aversion or allergy\, can I still come? Yes! Although there may be food that isn’t a part of your diet there will be plenty of conversation and fun for all. \n\n\nWhat else do I need to bring? The library provides plates\, napkins\, serving utensils\, power outlets\, microwave\, and most other neccesities. \n\n\nHow do I know that someone won’t make the same dish as me? That is a risk that we will just have to take. Sometimes dishes may be duplicated\, but that is okay.

SUMMARY:Virtual Author Talk with Matt Dinniman
DESCRIPTION:Apocalyptic Mayhem\, Lava-Spitting Llamas\, and One Very Sassy Cat: Surviving the Universe’s Most Twisted RPG with Matt Dinniman \nNew York Times Bestselling Author and Literary Dungeon Master \nRegister Here\nUpcoming Author Talks\nPast Author Talks\nHold onto your heart-patterned boxers! Matt Dinniman\, New York Times bestselling author of the wildly popular (and just plain wild) Dungeon Crawler Carl series\, joins us to chat about his latest book\, A Parade of Horribles. \nAs chaos and mass panic spread outside the dungeon in the wake of Faction Wars\, Carl and Donut find themselves on the tenth floor\, where they’re forced to compete in a surprisingly normal set of tasks. Well\, normal for the dungeon. \nRaces. Get from point A to point B\, and don’t come in last. After each race\, they pick an upgrade for their vehicle and the track gets more challenging. It all seems a little too normal\, a little too simple. \nIgnore those strange glitches that are occurring with increasing frequency. Don’t listen to those whispers about what’s happening on the mysterious eleventh floor\, something the system AI calls A Parade of Horribles. Nobody\, not even the showrunners\, knows what that means. Just that the AI has ominously dubbed it “a coming-out party for the ages.” \nEverything is fine\, Crawler. I repeat\, everything is fine. \nCarl hates that it’s business as usual. The rules of this floor have taken away his agency. That just will not do. \nSo Carl is planning a party of his own. It’s a plan so dangerous\, so insane\, he can’t even consult his friends lest the AI put a stop to it. Because if it goes wrong\, it’s not just the end of Carl and Donut. No. The stakes are higher than they’ve ever been. \nRegister now for a fun-filled discussion you won’t want to miss! \nAbout the Author: \nMatt Dinniman is a writer and artist from Gig Harbor\, Washington. He is the author of the New York Times bestselling Dungeon Crawler Carl series along with several other books about the end of the world. \nHe doesn’t really hate Cocker Spaniels\, and he plays bass in one band. \n
