Stop by the library on Tuesday, October 31 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm for our Halloween Story Path! Enjoy a stroll outside of the library (along Chicago Street) and read a Halloween story as you go! The story will be up during business trick-or-treat hours and candy will be provided as well.
30 Day Gratitude Challenge: The Power of Gratitude. November is upon us and with it comes the official season of gratitude. Gratitude can have a significant positive influence on our physical and mental health. In just 30 days you can change your perspective, change your thoughts and change your life. Six Lakeland area writers, Sue Drum, Andree Graveley, Cheryl Hanson, Elaine Hohensee, Barbara Kane and Ted Rulseh, will read from their works; a wide variety of material including fiction, essays, nature writing, and poetry. A lovely night of literary delight!
