Do you have books to donate to the library?

The library accepts a variety of new or gently used books, fiction and non-fiction titles for children and adults (hardbacks, trade paperbacks and paperbacks) including recent titles  (within 3 years of current date) and classics in excellent condition.

We cannot accept the following items:

  • Items that are yellowed, discolored, smoky or water damaged
  • Items with possible mildew or mold, or that have been stored in a musty basement or garage
  • Encyclopedias
  • Bibles
  • Items that have been discarded from other libraries
  • Reader’s Digest Condensed Books
  • Magazines
  • Textbooks
  • VHS or cassette tapes

Is the library accepting donations right now?

Yes! Due to space and staff constraints, the library has a limit to how many donations it can receive at any given time.

Donated materials should be brought to the front desk. If a donation is larger than can be donated in one trip, the donor shall be directed to make an appointment for drop off. Patrons with large donations (more than one bag or box) should call ahead at 715-356-4437 to make arrangements to drop them off.
