Established in 2009, the Foundation supports and enhances the services and facilities of the Minocqua Public Library.
About the Foundation
The Minocqua Public Library Foundation was established in 2009 to provide financial assistance for the expansion and renovation of the library. Initially, the funds raised were used to furnish the expanded facility.
The Foundation’s ongoing mission is to strengthen the library collection, expand library programming, and enhance library services.
Nonprofit status: The Minocqua Public Library Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

QCD Beneficiary
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals aged 70.5 years or older to annually transfer from a traditional or inherited IRA directly to qualified charities, tax-free. This strategy satisfies Required Minimum Distributions without increasing taxable income.
The Minocqua Public Library Foundation is an approved QCD beneficiary.
