Overview

Libby is the app you’ll use to read and listen to ebooks and audiobooks.

OverDrive is the website where you can browse and borrow— then send items to Libby (or even just read in your browser).

Tip: If you’re new, start with the Libby app—it’s the easiest way to read/listen on a phone or tablet.

The 3 steps to getting Libby

It’s easy and generally just take 3 easy steps to get you reading on your device.

  1. Install Libby

    Download the Libby app for iPhone/iPad or Android.

  2. Add your library card

    Select your library, then enter your card number and PIN.

  3. Search, borrow, enjoy

    Borrow ebooks & audiobooks and start reading or listening right away.

How it works

Use your library card to borrow digital titles. You can discover and borrow in the Libby app, or browse the OverDrive website and borrow from there.

Best for phones/tablets. Read ebooks, listen to audiobooks, manage holds and loans, and download for offline use.

OverDrive website

Browse and borrow in your web browser. When you borrow, you can often open items in Libby.
