HOW CAN I GET A LIBRARY CARD?

Apply for a library card by visiting the Minocqua Public Library. You will need to fill out a brief application and bring in a photo I.D.

A driver’s license with current address is the easiest way to apply. If you do not have that we will accept a photo ID and may ask you some questions to verify. A parent and/or guardian is required to be with anyone 18 years or younger requesting a card.

IF I DON’T LIVE IN MINOCQUA, CAN I STILL BORROW ITEMS?

Yes. To check out books at the Minocqua Public Library you need to be a taxpayer or live in the state of Wisconsin and have a library card from the Wisconsin Valley Library System.

Libraries included in the WVLS consortium of libraries include:

I FORGOT MY CARD, BUT I STILL WANT TO CHECK OUT MATERIALS, WHAT DO I DO?

DOES THE LIBRARY NEED TO KNOW IF I’VE MOVED?

DO LIBRARY CARDS EXPIRE?
