FAQs
Where do I find the book? The selected book is available at the library’s front desk to make photocopies or check out. There may be other cookbooks by the same author or alternative cookbooks with the same type of food available as well.
Do I have to bring a dish to share? No, but it is very much encouraged. The more recipes to share and discuss, the more fun.
May I make a recipe not from the selected book? Yes. We encourage you to use the chosen book, but do not feel pressure if you are not able to.
Do I have to follow the recipe exactly? No! Use substitutions as you see fit, but PLEASE inform everyone in case of allergies, food aversions, etc.
I have a food aversion or allergy, can I still come? Yes! Although there may be food that isn’t a part of your diet there will be plenty of conversation and fun for all.
What else do I need to bring? The library provides plates, napkins, serving utensils, power outlets, microwave, and most other neccesities.
How do I know that someone won’t make the same dish as me? That is a risk that we will just have to take. Sometimes dishes may be duplicated, but that is okay.
