Join Jim Head of the Northwoods Explorers for some hands-on learning fun in the library's program room! There will be stations set up for you to work your way through. Learn about Newton's laws of motion and simple rocket theory by creating a rocket balloon, discover all the different moon phases using light and Styrofoam balls, create UV beaded bracelets that change color when exposed to UV light, learn about our electromagnetic spectrum, and check out the scale of the Solar System with an amazing model. There will be materials available to take home for additional learning fun and also a few meteorites will be on-hand to check out!! No registration required.
